1. the fact that some songs just sound better in the summer. I swear they do. Falling back in love with them on a scorching day is like being reunited with an old, wonderful friend.
2. McDonald’s vanilla iced coffee
3. orbit mint mojito gum
4. driving with the windows down, passed the water, listening to the good version of I’m Yours by Jason Mraz (it’s in my archive somewhere- so much better than the album version IMO)
5. sundresses
6. barefootedness
7. iced cream sandwhiches
8. orange juice ice pops
9. outdoor concerts
10. the beach at night
11. tan lines
12. reading in the shade
13. hammocks
14. spending all day in a bathing suit
15. seeing the heat rise off the pavement
16. waves crashing on the shore
17. coming out of the ocean on a hot day and feeling the sun warm you up
18. iced caramel macchiatos for breakfast
19. the carefree essence that no other season can grasp
& to top it off 19 is my favorite number.
